AtHome Magazine, A-List Awards issue, November/December 2017

Such an honor to be recognized once again for this gorgeous dining room! This space is truly an ethereal and calming space. It boasts a soft and soothing color scheme of blush, stone, and creme; colors that are a back drop to beautiful architecture and elegant design elements.

DCD is delighted to see this Dining Room be a finalist space in A-List Awards 2017 by @athomefc, now featured in the November/December 2017 issue.

It's an honor to be featured in this wonderful publication.  We had a dream team get this project completed in a record amount of time while the family was on holiday in Europe.  We love the wow factor we created in this fantastic new kitchen space.

Being featured in circa LIGHTING's Volume II Lookbook is truly an honor. This world famous supplier of beautiful, high end lighting fixtures for consumers and interior designers alike, is a modern day cornerstone in the industry.
Please check out our dining room space (page 25) in this fun and chic print and online publication.  Only rooms and spaces that meet exemplary interior design standards featuring their fine lighting line are represented in this Lookbook, and DCD is honored to partake.  At DCD, we believe that lighting creates an ambiance and should never be overlooked. Selecting the right light to set the mood and create a feeling is what we set out to do.  We captured that ethereal feeling in our space and circa LIGHTING clearly agrees.

In developing her plan for a serene and comfortable guest bedroom, Dalia Canora started with a fabric that she happened upon by chance at a local design store.
She ultimately used the textile for the room’s draperies, and it became the basis for a dreamy palette of subtle pastels.

The feature Serene Sanctuary spotlights a peaceful bedroom retreat in a Darien home for a newly relocated family of five.  Cultivating calm, while respecting the couple's wishes to showcase their personality, proves to be a doable challenge!  Canora provides them with an aesthetically functional, visually interesting, and sensual space by varying pattern, textures, while maintaining a relatively neutral palette.  Explore this space in this fun feature that's not to be missed!

AtHome Magazine

Dalia Canora Design was honored to be a finalist in the Dining Room category at the 5th Annual A-List Award ceremony, which boasts the best in design and architecture in Fairfield County. Moffly Media's November-December 2014 issue of athome Magazine in Fairfield County features a whimsical dining room in an Arts and Crafts home in Darien, CT. A rustic, modern theme defines this space and a vibrant purple colorway, along with silver for whimsey, help anchor this chic, yet welcoming room.

Serendipity Magazine's November 2014 issue spotlighted one of Dalia Canora's master bedrooms as seen in "Before and After" spaces. This bedroom was revived from a dated space with a darker palette to  an ethereal safe haven that empathizes color harmony and peacefulness to help elicit that feeling one gets while enjoying endless waterviews.

East Coast Home - Design

East Coast Home + Design

Dalia Canora's work has also been featured in East Coast Home + Design 2012/2013.  This custom build boasts high-end finishes and upscale design at their best for a family of five in in Old Greenwich, CT. Canora's stamp is felt throughout this 6-bedroom colonial with stunning waterviews of the Long Island Sound.  Embracing the outdoors and capturing the views was the overall approach.  The colors, furnishings, millwork, and tile and stone selections, all work harmoniously to create a  chic beachfront home with character and elegance.

Kitchens: The Smart Approach to Design

One of the many grand kitchens designed by Dalia Canora can be seen in Kitchens: The Smart Approach to Design 2011 in the Traditional Kitchen category. The elegant painted custom cabinetry, with the cherry over-sized island, double farm sinks and double corner hutches with built-in desks, embrace function and aesthetics setting this kitchen apart from others of it's caliber.

House of Turquoise

On November 11, 2015, the inspirational blog House of Turquoise showcased many fun and inviting rooms created by Dalia Canora Design. Various spaces with varied functions exhibit the color proudly and are featured on the website, reaching tens of thousands of followers. And the blog proudly states..."From the mudroom (that might be the prettiest one I've ever laid eyes on!) to the super cozy porch, I'm feeling totally inspired by her work! The turquoise-filled girl's room is such a dream too!
